Regional Forum

    • There are short videos explaining the purpose of a Regional Forum available! https://www.aa.org/regional-local-and-special-forums 
    • It is held once a rotation in the Pacific Region. The next Pacific Regional Forum will be on December 4 – 6, 2026 in San Diego, California. 
      • Translation is no longer provided by GSO. The Regional Forums committee will be surveying the regional trustees to assess current and future interpretation needs and the availability of resources to meet those needs.
      • AI interpretation is being used at some Regional Forum events taking into account technical barriers to accessing the tool, and its ability to communicate AA and General Service recovery effectively.
  • Area 08 passed a motion to fund live interpretation resources at their expense for ASL. They are asking for support from other Pacific Region Areas to help cover costs for Spanish interpretation.
